Our process starts from conceptualization and design, leading to manufacturing and distribution.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an Interoperability Engineer who is passionate about developing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance the interoperability of our vehicle chargers.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Develop and implement solutions to ensure the seamless interoperability of VEGA Chargers with various platforms, networks, and EV cars.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software, electric department) to integrate charging systems to new cars and new backends.
* Ensure compliance with international standards like OCPP, ISO15118, DIN70121, CHAdeMO 0.9 & CHAdeMO 1.2.
* Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of charger-to-system communication and functionality focused and oriented to current and future standards.
* Stay alert for new electric vehicles before they hit the market, as well as for festivals to verify the compatibility of our chargers with the vehicles.
* Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, troubleshooting issues that arise.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging interoperability standards to keep at the cutting edge.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
* +3 years of experience in interoperability, systems integration, or similar roles within the electric vehicle or energy sector.
* Strong knowledge of communication protocols.
* Experience in managing and troubleshooting communication between hardware and software systems.
* Familiarity with smart charging technologies and energy management systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have:
* Experience with energy storage systems (V2G) and renewable energy integration.
* Knowledge of OCPP, OCPI protocols.
* Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT).
