Your responsibilities will include delivering HR services, ensuring a solid foundation for talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational growth within the rapidly growing renewables sector.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, working independently to develop HR processes and operations that align with our global objectives while addressing the needs of our people. You will work closely with the UK-based Chief People Officer (CPO) to implement plans and initiatives that support business growth and enhance the employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute HR strategies and plans that align with the company’s business objectives and growth plans in the respective regions.Collaborate with senior management to forecast HR needs and plan for talent acquisition and development.Lead the recruitment process, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent.Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and ensuring a positive, supportive work environment.Manage and resolve employee relations queries offering actionable recommendations and solutions.Ensure HR policies and practices are fully compliant with local labor laws and company standards.Maintain compliance with employment regulations, handling legal issues related to human resources and labor law.Implement and oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.Administer compensation and benefits, ensuring competitive and comprehensive total reward offerings.Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements to all employees.Design, review, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with both global standards and local legal requirements.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.Certified HR professional (e.g. SHRM, CIPD or similar).7+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a standalone HR role.Experience in the renewable energy sector, technical consultancy, engineering, or manufacturing is an advantage.Advanced knowledge of labor laws and HR best practice in the region.Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development.Strong problem-solving skills and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.STS – At the Forefront of the Global Renewable Energy IndustryAt STS, we serve as technical advisors, auditors, and inspectors, empowering our clients - including major renewable energy project developers, owners, operators, and IPPs - to make sustainable decisions for every aspect of their projects.
