Senior UX Research Specialist
Summary of the role
We are seeking a talented UX User Researcher (UR) to join our Guest Facing UX Team and play a pivotal role in understanding user needs, behaviors, and preferences to inform the design and development of our digital products. The person will set up, run and report on all aspects of qualitative and quantitative user experience research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research methodologies, a passion for uncovering insights, and the ability to communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
Your main responsibilities
1. Analyze and refine product/project stakeholders’ UX related requests and needs.
2. Set up research objectives (with PM) & help PM define project approach and user experience strategy.
3. Define the UX research scope & applicable methods.
4. Involve the project/product team (PM, UX Designers, DEV) by organizing UX Research kick-off and follow-up meetings.
5. Identify the target users to define the participants to involve in the research.
6. Lead the recruitment process: define participants number, contact users or outsource the recruitment, ensure participants' profile is relevant for the research, schedule the sessions, communicate and check participants agreements with legal aspects of the research.
7. Conduct informative UX research (contextual and individual interviews, focus groups, field research, exploratory surveys, analytical analyses).
8. Generate personas and experience charts with target users and internal stakeholders.
9. Generate and evaluate user experience.
10. Facilitate ideation design sessions with project/product teams to inject UX research findings in the design process.
11. Work with UX designers to suggest directions for the UI design based on research findings.
12. Plan, build, conduct, and analyze user feedback sessions to evaluate the user experience through iterations all along the development cycle.
13. Share research findings and evangelize UX.
14. Facilitate project communication across multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project.
About the ideal candidate:
1. Bachelor's or Master's in psychology, human-computer interaction, anthropology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a UX researcher, User Researcher, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your research skills and process.
3. Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with experience planning and conducting various research activities.
4. Proficiency in research tools and platforms, such as UserTesting, UsabilityHub, and survey software.
5. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings to cross-functional teams.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
