Your Mission đ§
Acting as the founderâs primary thoughtâpartner and execution arm, you will:
* Quickly triage inbound demands, transform chaos into structured plans, and make sure nothing missionâcritical slips through the cracks
* Standâup new workstreams (e.g., hiring engine, supplyâchain ops, facility moves) from zero to stable, then hand them over to domain experts once repeatability is proven.
* Create leverage across the company by applying best practices, aligning teams, and accelerating decision velocity.
This role is ideal for a builderâoperator who thrives on making order out of ambiguity and who measures success in multiplied impact rather than personal spotlight.
What Youâll Be Driving đ
I. Founders Leverage & Strategic Projects
* Serve as gatekeeper, prioritiser and sounding board.
* Translate loosely defined ideas into structured, timeâboxed projects with clear owners and success metrics.
* Prepare board materials, investor updates and strategic narratives that reflect realâtime progress.
II. Hiring & Talent Operations
* Design and run a fast, dataâdriven hiring funnel for engineering, supplyâchain, manufacturing and business teams.
* Implement onboarding playbooks that compress rampâup time and embed cultural values from day one.
III. Supply Chain & Operational Excellence
* Stand up the initial supplyâchain functions: source suppliers, negotiate terms, and define quality KPIs.
* Identify and unblock operational bottlenecks, factory layout, inventory turns, shipping lead times, and drive crossâfunctional fixes.
* Capture learnings, then transition steadyâstate ownership to a dedicated team.
IV. Culture & Systems
* Codify rituals that reinforce ownership, urgency and humility.
* Build lightweight knowledgeâmanagement and docâops so information travels faster than people do.
* Model rollâupâyourâsleeves leadership, no task beneath you, no process above redesign.
Youâll Likely Excel Here If ⊠đŻ
* 3â5 years in operator / builder roles (founderâs office, highâgrowth ops, consultingâturnedâstartupâoperator, VC platform, etc.).
* Track record of bootstrapping functions from scratch
* Systems thinker with bias to action
* Fluent across altitude levels
* Strong analytical & communication skills
* Lowâego, highâownership: driven by mission, eager to give credit, unafraid to ask dumb questions, relentless about followâthrough.
Extra credit for experience in robotics, manufacturing, hardware supply chains, or deepâtech startâups.
