HR Business Partner – Specialist in Compensation & Expatriate Management
For our client, a leading Spanish multinational in the food industry, we are looking to hire an HR Business Partner with a strong background in Compensation and Expatriate Management.
The selected candidate will report to the Compensation Director and will combine responsibilities as a direct HR partner for the international business unit with active participation in projects and day-to-day operations within the Compensation Department. This is a strategic role to ensure proper international talent management while contributing to the design and implementation of corporate compensation policies.
Role Purpose
To lead and drive the deployment of People policies across the international business unit, designing specific plans aligned with both the Business and People strategies. Simultaneously, the role will collaborate in the analysis and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits frameworks from both a technical and operational perspective.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic HR partner to the International Business Unit, understanding its needs and aligning People initiatives to business goals across different countries.
* Ensure compliance with local and international labor regulations.
* Provide guidance to business leadership and managers, acting as a liaison between the business and corporate HR areas.
* Coordinate the Management by Objectives (MBO) process to align contributions across teams.
* Lead talent-related processes: recruitment, selection, capability assessment, and development plans.
* Manage the annual salary review process to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
* Lead international hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring effective integration of new employees.
* Ensure proper management of expatriates and international mobility.
* Actively collaborate with the Compensation Department, contributing to salary structure analysis, benchmarking, annual review processes, benefits policy management, and global compensation projects.
* Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Profile Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
* Solid experience in the full range of HR processes.
* Expertise in Compensation and Benefits, with strong analytical skills.
* Advanced knowledge in Expatriate Management and international mobility.
* Advanced English level C1 (additional languages are a plus).
* Proficient in HR digital tools and MS Office.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international environments.
* Autonomy in managing HR topics across diverse contexts.
* Proven experience in international onboarding processes.
* Strong communication skills and experience interacting with senior leadership.
* Previous experience in technical compensation areas will be highly valued.
Education
* University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
