Sourcing Specialist
We are currently recruiting a Sourcing Specialist for a position based in our Madrid offices.
About the Role - The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sourcing activities for its assigned projects and categories, which entails partnering with Sourcing Manager/Supervisors, as well as internal stakeholders to provide analytics support, calculating and reporting savings, executing supplier management and procurement best practices such as RFPs, among others.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Sourcing Manager to identify products at the best value for our main client system, conducting market and suppliers research.
* Manage suppliers for the assigned Categories.
* Perform detailed data analysis and maintain documentation for the local sourcing events (“Request for Pricing”) and other initiatives.
* Assist Global sourcing initiatives such as Global RFPs and supplier performance.
* Maintain updated Food & Paper spend analysis and cost savings reports.
* Assist in demand forecasting and planning.
* Prepare executive presentations to the internal stakeholders for business decision making.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
* 3+ years of experience in negotiation, project management or in a Supply Chain position.
* Strong skills to obtain and filter data from databases (Oracle, Access, Excel, etc).
* Effective communication skills to inform about conclusions to the leadership team in a clear and concise manner.
* Be able to establish good interpersonal communication and work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
