Key Responsibilities
* Conduct risk identification and assessments.
* Plan, monitor, and evaluate preventive measures in the workplace.
* Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
* Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Prepare reports and summaries for management, participating in decision-making meetings.
* Implement and oversee compliance with ISO 45001 standards supporting area managers.
* Maintain and update emergency plans.
* Conducting training sessions and organizing regular emergency drills to ensure the team is well-prepared and compliant with safety protocols.
* Ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) and operational controls meet safety requirements.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Performing site visits and inspections across the region (Europe) to ensure project compliance and progress.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Technical Degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (covering Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics).
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering sector.
* C1-level English or higher.
* Willing to travel 40% of the time across Europe
* Strong skills in communication, attention to detail, proactiveness, and continuous learning.
* Knowledge of national and international health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Internal auditor certification for ISO14001, ISO45001
