The Opportunity:As a Data and Analytics Architect specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL (Extract, Load, Transform) technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions for our organization. Your expertise in BI tools and ETL processes will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in building maintaining and enhancing our data and analytics applications. Key Activities for this role:
1. Responsible for ensuring our data applications are performant, operational, scalable and continue to drive business value and you will play a pivotal role in building maintaining and enhancing our data and analytics applications.
2. Design, develop, and optimize data solutions for our organization. Your expertise in BI tools and ETL processes will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives.
3. Create and consume complex Qlik/PowerBI data models.
4. Provide Technical Support to internal users troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring system uptime as soon as possible.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
6. Experience working with data warehousing, data modelling and architecture.
7. Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining QLIK applications. Experience with QLIK Sense and QLIKView is highly desirable. Experience working with N-Printing, Qlik Alerting.
8. Expert at creating and consuming complex Qlik/PowerBI data models and strong expertise in creating interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is essential and Power Automate (MS Flow) or PowerBI alerts.
9. Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration techniques.
10. Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
11. Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or R for data validation.
Preferred Experience:
12. Experience working in the Pharma/ Lifesciences industry.
13. Experience in storytelling with data.
14. Visualisation best practices.
15. Knowledge/ proven experience architecting Qlik, or PowerBI SaaS solutions.
Educations/Qualifications:
16. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
Additional information:
17. This is a permanent full-time position based in Spain.
18. This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2/3 days per month in our Spain office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
