The position
The Sales Manager Commercial & Compact UPS Iberia is responsible to establish, develop and maintain business relationships with new customers, drive sales activities with existing and new customers, investigate the market of this product range in the target territory, ensure the long-term presence of the company on Data & IT and Light Industrial markets and achieve the sales targets.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify new partners and distributors for the AEG PS standard UPS range in the territory.
* Establish, develop and maintain the productive relationship with new customers.
* Achieve the sales targets for this product range in the territory.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in Iberia.
* Establish AEG PS permanent market presence in the Data & IT sector, working closely with IT wholesalers and system integrators.
* Identify and establish new sales channels for commercial & compact UPSs in the building infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing sectors.
* Analyze new potential market segments to develop the sales plan and ensure future growth with focus on Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
* Permanently investigate the market and analyze the trends to help the company in its competitive market strategy.
* Define and execute sales plans and maintain relevant information in CRM system.
* Work in close cooperation with the product marketing team in order to provide up-to-date information from the market and support the development of new products.
* Work in close cooperation with the AEG PS Service team to help them to ensure the proper service support and the customer satisfaction.
* Continuously investigating new solution concepts with distributors, end users, system integrators to increase the competitiveness of AEG PS in this market.
* Represent the company to the customer and act as a linking-pin between the customer and the relevant internal departments; participate in acceptance tests (FAT or SAT).
* Collaborate with Field Application Engineering on the preparation of specific quotations and provide the required information for competitive solution offering.
* Collaborate with Service on preparation and promoting competitive service offering to support the sales growth of the compact UPS business.
* Work closely with the other sales managers to support company activities in other projects.
* Represent the company in conferences, trade fairs and customer events as well as in project reviews.
Qualifications and requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably supplementary studies in Sales Management.
* 3+ years of sales experience in power electronics or related.
* Knowledge of commercial and contract law, specification of project orders.
* Knowledge in the field of contract negotiations.
* Proficiency in English C1.
* Computer literacy: MS Office Applications; CRM; ERP/SAP.
