We’re expanding our team at Alén Space and are looking for a Senior AIV engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.
You will be part of a large number of nanosatellite missions within the company's AIV team. This area is responsible for carrying out all tasks related to verifying compliance with spacecraft requirements as well as their integration and final verification, including all necessary tests. You will plan and coordinate the activities to be executed by other members of the AIV team and will also participate in the evolution of Alén Space's predefined nanosatellite platforms.
What you will be doing?
* Definition of the verification plan from the start phase of each mission.
* Coordination of the development of AIV procedures and specification of AIV tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
* Coordination and monitoring of manufacturing and validation activities.
* Lead environmental tests (thermal-vacuum, vibrations, etc.) and launch campaigns.
* Product Assurance support (non-conformity management).
What do we need in our team?
* More than 5 years of experience in AIV positions.
* Knowledge of ECSS standards.
* Experience working in clean room and EPA (Electrostatic Protection Area) environments.
* Experience participating in environmental campaigns.
* The applicant must be fluent in English.
Valuable knowledge:
* Previous experience in Nanosatellite projects.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing approaches.
* Experience working with complex subsystems such as ADCS and propulsion.
* Experience in using tools and equipment for the integration of spacecraft components (GSE equipment).
* Knowledge of operation and maintenance of TVC or vibration installations.
Candidate qualifications and skills:
* Work remotely 20% of the time.
