Summary
Cicoil’sLogistics Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shipping and receiving department. This role will lead the team, manage processes, and work to optimize the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory. This position enjoys the challenge of working with a diverse, dynamic, and growing organization -- with different and at times conflicting priorities, and dynamic business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in logistics, preferably in wire harness assembly manufacturing or a related field. Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems. Epicor preferred.
Knowledge: The ideal candidate exhibits strong leadership skills to motivate and mentor a diverse team, and possesses excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Demonstrates knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including ERP systems (Epicor), and showcases effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and team leaders and can make decisions that are driven by data.
Skills: Must be detail-oriented, responsive, accessible, self-motivated, autonomous, and able to work well with diverse internal team members and external points of contact. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask. Must demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present ideas and recommend appropriate courses of action. Must have demonstrated success in positions that require professionalism in supporting and working alongside a diverse group of established and new team members. Expertise in managing the safe and efficient handling of materials throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices. Strong ability to oversee receiving activities. Proficient in preparing and reviewing all shipping documentation, packing lists, ERP information, and customs paperwork, to ensure accuracy and compliance for timely deliveries. Demonstrated skills in inventory control, utilizing ERP systems to track stock levels, manage replenishment processes, and optimize inventory turnover while minimizing waste.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
This position requires the use of information or access to hardware and documents that are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be able to comply with the requirements of ITAR and other U.S. export control laws.

Specific Position Duties
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of shipping and receiving personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of goods and materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate outgoing shipments, including selecting carriers, preparing shipping documents, and monitoring delivery schedules.
Receiving Operations: Supervise the receiving process, inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, and manage the accurate recording of receipts.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that goods meet specifications and quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including the safe operation of equipment and the handling of hazardous materials.
Inventory Accuracy: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conduct periodic cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in shipping and receiving operations.
Vendor and Carrier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers, negotiate contracts, and manage service levels.
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour
