JOB SUMMARY:
The candidate will develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer relationships at a high standard, as well as maintaining quality and positive relationships with current clients. Being the key point of contact and offering them the accompaniment needed in all the services we offer. In this role, the candidate should be passionate about excellence and growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Territory: The candidate will manage Egypt, Morocco, and support the Spanish market.
* Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients to serve post-harvest and DECCO Portfolio.
* Conduct high-level industry research to develop new business opportunities and contribute to new projects.
* Periodical visits to customers, providing technical support and advice, building strong relationships, selling the DECCO Portfolio, and collecting receivables.
* International travel will be required: approx. 25%.
* Maintain current clients and distributors to keep track of business requirements.
* Develop new clients and distributors to grow the business area.
* Work within cross-functional teams to get support for product positioning and customer service.
* Interact with clients and respond to inquiries about the company’s products and services.
* Cooperate with the rest of the team to enable active collaboration and teamwork.
* Monitor sales progress to ensure corporate goals are being met.
* Maximize synergy in between DECCO portfolio.
* Assist the Commercial Team on pricing and go-to-market strategies with the active follow-up of market insights to maximize value gained and growth opportunities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Agricultural Engineer, Food Technologist, Biologist, or similar.
Experience:
* Experience in agro business (postharvest, agrochemicals, special fertilizers, or fresh fruits storage industry).
* Strong team working attitude, autonomy, vision, and problem-solving capacity.
* Being a team player, entrepreneurial, flexible, and able to perform in a demanding environment.
* Enjoys working in a hands-on environment with direct contact with multicultural clients.
* Fluent in Spanish and English (French is a plus).
