The Aircraft Manager (AcM) is the driver of operational execution of the Aircraft FAL A400M Series, overseeing the entire process. The role involves delivering A400M Aircraft on time and in the requested configuration, ensuring full coordination of all Industrial Partners, controlling the Final Assembly Line (FAL) processes, negotiating with various departments (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.), launching recovery plans, and escalating issues as necessary. The jobholder is integrated into the Production Support Area, reporting functionally and hierarchically to the Head of Aircraft Industrial Managers.
Main Activities :
* Coordinate and drumbeat IPP, Suppliers, and other stakeholders to support Production in achieving aircraft milestones (OTOCOQ).
* Lead Operational Gates and manage improvement action plans from sections arrival to Delivery of the Aircraft.
* Implement Delta process procedures and control + mitigation plans (inflow / outflow).
* Capture and track technical risks, coordinate and monitor Outstanding Work.
* Analyze and resolve blocking points during A / C FAL, FL, and DC processes.
* Visualize production progress and A / C status.
* Report any issues to upper management.
* Support technology, process, and management improvements for FAL, FL, and DC problems.
* Act as a focal point towards the Program for A / C status.
* Support and deputize the Head of AcIM in achieving time, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
* Establish a clear and efficient way of working recognized by the entire team, promoting Airbus tools and methodologies.
