The Role
As the Head of Operations at CUBRO, you will be pivotal in scaling our operations to support our rapid growth and expansion. Your mission will be to oversee and optimise our operations process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery and internal workflows. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about operational excellence and innovation in the furniture industry. Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
* Proven experience in Operations Management or Consulting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to strategise and solve problems effectively.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of supply chain and logistics management.
* Proficiency in data analysis and budget management.
* Experience in the furniture or manufacturing industry is a plus.
* Fluent in Spanish and English. French is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
o Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with CUBRO's business goals.
o Oversee the execution of operational plans to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the business.
2. Production and Supplier Management
o Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure timely and quality production of our products.
o Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure favourable terms and maintain supply chain resilience.
o Coordinate with the technical office to ensure product designs are feasible and optimized for production.
o Implement strict quality control measures to ensure all products meet the highest standards.
3. Logistics and Distribution
o Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products.
o Implement systems and processes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
o Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
o Lead the aftersales service team to provide excellent customer service, handle customer complaints, and manage returns and repairs.
4. Team Leadership and Development
o Lead and mentor a diverse team.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages team growth and development.
5. Budget Management
o Manage the operational budget, including cost analysis and reduction strategies.
o Provide regular financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement
o Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in furniture design and manufacturing.
o Implement innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and product offerings.
