Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our MedTech Surgery team in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and coordinate work required for engineering changes to address electrical hardware and software aspects of capital systems and handheld devices.
2. Lead and support field root cause investigation and resolution, including gap analysis, production troubleshooting, and process/product validation.
3. Develop strong partnerships with multi-functional leaders and suppliers to drive alignment, prioritize and complete combined projects.
4. Ensure projects are driven in compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, MDR) & Ethicon policy & procedure requirements.
5. Ensure the safety and critical performance of commercial products, per applicable electrical safety standards of medical devices.
Qualifications:
1. Education: BS in Electrical Engineering is required. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Required: A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
3. Experience translating high-level customer needs into technical requirements, analyzing the tradeoffs and business impacts.
4. Experience within a medical device or other highly regulated industry.
5. Strong electrical analysis skills, including an understanding of electrical systems and subsystems and how they interact with the overall system design.
6. Knowledge of root cause analysis, verification/validation testing and creating test protocols.
7. Familiar with electrical test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers.
8. Results driven with the ability to work across organizational boundaries.
9. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
