Job Title : JR013545 Regional Market Insights and Analytics Sr Analyst - EMEAC
Location : Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid
Job Description
The Regional Market Insights and Analytics Sr Analyst - EMEAC is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making through deep market analysis and insights generation. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to navigate and synthesize large datasets, and the capability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. By collaborating closely with regional business unit (BU) heads and other key regional stakeholders, the individual will play a crucial role in shaping commercial strategies and optimizing business performance.
The ideal candidate is scientifically curious, proactive, and highly skilled in data interpretation, with a preference for those with a pharmaceutical or healthcare background. The role also involves routine report generation, development of advanced analytical models, and delivering compelling presentations that drive strategic discussions.
Key Responsibilities
* Market Insights & Data Analytics
* Analyse large internal and external datasets to extract meaningful insights and correlations
* Identify trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform commercial strategies
* Support brand and commercial teams by uncovering deep insights that drive next-best actions
* Strategic Decision Support
* Work closely with Regional BU Heads to understand key business needs and provide data-backed recommendations
* Utilize analytics to assess brand performance, market access conditions, and pricing strategies
* Develop predictive models to support business forecasting and opportunity assessments
* Generate routine and ad-hoc reports to track business performance and market trends
* Develop dashboards and visualization tools using Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms
* Present findings in a clear and compelling way to senior stakeholders
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a key analytics partner for cross-functional teams including commercial, marketing, and finance.
* Proactively identify and communicate insights that can enhance business growth.
* Drive adoption of a data-driven decision-making culture across the region.
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
* Master’s or MBA is a plus
* 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, commercial operations, or market insights roles
* Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is preferred
* Strong data analysis and interpretation skills with the ability to uncover key insights
* Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
* Familiarity with SQL, CRM systems, and ERP platforms
* Ability to create predictive models and trend analyses
* High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality
