Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with 3-6+ years of experience in technology-related sales or business development to drive sales opportunities through channel partners based on their knowledge of Modern Workplace, Data and BI, Apps and Infra, Business Applications.
Responsibilities:
* Secure new customer wins for Cloud by maximizing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities through collaboration with Sales Agents, Solution Specialists, client sales teams, and channel partners.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud capabilities and pricing for both clients and competitors.
* Drive alignment and teamwork within a team, department, or across organizational boundaries to achieve company-wide goals.
* Tenaciously pursue positive outcomes by using effective approaches to solve problems, delivering on commitments, and seeking increasingly challenging work.
* Hold others accountable for actions, decisions, and goals while communicating and networking effectively and successfully persuading and influencing others.
* Effectively scope problems, build and apply a job-relevant knowledge base, and make decisions with conviction.
* Engage with partners assigned to opportunities to drive partner action to recommend the right solutions and close deals while providing support as needed.
* Actively monitor pipeline, collect feedback, and update involved parties on closure, support close plan execution, and collaborate with local TCM on pipeline and partner introductions.
* Surface customer wins for partner sell with evidence; surface partner capacity and capability needs and key Opportunities to Partner Management team to drive development and recruitment of new partners.
* Control main performance indicators and run rates of pipeline: hand-off rate, close rate, velocity, customer and agreement retention, revenue recapture, consumption, etc.
* Collect feedback on the most active channel partners and articulate it to the business as "Voice of Partner".
* Establish a foundation for how technology and services can meet customer/partner needs by aligning the value proposition of the products, technology, and services to the customer's/partner's strategies and needs.
* Use programs and promotions to accelerate closure while owning preferred and unmanaged partner lists.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering preferred.
* 3-6+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience; experience working within a technical sales environment preferred.
* Demonstrated knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance and how they relate to cloud services.
* Experience in selling cloud services through channel partners is a plus.
* Excellent negotiation management and strong communication skills (verbal & written) including excellent telephone and presentation skills.
* Work toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation, and time/work prioritize.
* Ability to demonstrate innovation and good judgment/problem-solving skills when making decisions.
* Ability to establish an individual course of action to accomplish goals while using appropriate sales CRMs. Microsoft office.
