Position Overview
• Ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
• Develop or improve complex computer-aided design and engineering processes. This includes tackling intricate design and tooling tasks across multiple design environments and clearly communicating software issues, as well as improvement opportunities, to product development teams.
• You will handle complex projects with some autonomy, exercising independent judgment and discretion, leveraging your advanced skills with a high level of proficiency.
Area of Responsibility
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products collaborating closely with our development team to:
* Requirements Validation.
* Identify defects or gaps in the earliest stage of the projects.
* Creation of Test Plan covering all the Project requirements and according to the Project Functional Specification.
* Perform comprehensive testing and analysis reporting to product development teams, improvement opportunities, as well as issues or gaps detected.
* Fixes verification.
* Uphold our high standards of product performance and quality.
What You Need to Qualify for the Role
* Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
* Experience in the marine industry is a strong plus, specifically in Outfitting.
* Experience with CAD system NX will be also appreciated.
* Team working ability with excellent cooperation and communication skills.
* Self-drive, and a positive can-do attitude is required.
