Job Description
As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of embedded firmware OS according to standards and customer specifications.
You will participate in the standardization committees of the industry: GSMA, ETSI, 3GPP, Global Platform.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Analysis and design of features for security embedded systems.
* Implementation of firmware code for security embedded systems.
* Firmware maintenance and development support.
* Testing of firmware code for embedded systems to validate the developed features.
* Analysis of issues on released products.
* Providing an adequate interface in the standardization committees of the industry.
Authority: You will make design and development decisions of the different functionalities of the embedded firmware OS in alignment with Technical Lead.
Requirements:
* Competent level in programming language C (embedded).
* Competent technical skills in cryptography.
* Competent level in programming language JAVA.
* Experience with embedded HW and SW systems.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Software, Telecommunications, or related field.
* 3+ years of previous and proven experience as a Firmware Engineer or similar role.
* Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent).
* Proficiency in Spanish and good written, reading, and spoken English to communicate with our global team. A good level of Chinese is a plus.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Results-oriented personality.
