CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Hotel Marketing and Advertising
* Plan the execution and development of regular activities and monthly events according to the Marketing Plan and be present during the activations when needed.
* Provide and execute creative ideas to leverage revenue generation opportunities and brand awareness of W Ibiza.
* Partner with Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales, Finance, and revenue teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting in-house guests and transients.
* Act as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans.
* Coordinate the implementation of all brand packages and practices including special events and promotional opportunities at the property level in collaboration with Revenue Management.
* Act as a marketing channel for information regarding the property’s specific need periods and coordinate information regarding the property’s seasonality and opportunities.
* Develop and execute email marketing.
* Maintain frequent, active engagement with the Digital Field Marketing team to verify alignment and communication about online programs and initiatives.
* Verify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.
* Ensure that W Ibiza and its communication is compliant with all brand standards.
* Build and maintain an ongoing partners and sponsors generation plan to leverage all marketing activations.
Social Media Content
* Act as a leader in social media activity, initiatives, and exposure.
* Facilitate social media engagement and update content in local digital channels.
* Develop and execute promotions campaigns for F&B, rooms, spa, and meetings through relevant digital and social media channels.
* Engage in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments in social media channels and responding accordingly.
* Manage and ensure fluid communication with advertising agencies to achieve all social media goals.
* Partner with influencers in alignment with the W brand to leverage awareness and engagement.
* Coordinate all communications internally for influencer visits at the hotel.
* Have schedule flexibility to welcome influencers and support hotel photo-shootings & content creation when needed.
General
* Assist the development, coordination, and execution of all Marketing activities.
* Support communications duties as necessary.
* Assist in the liaison and execution of joint F&B/Rooms/Spa promotions.
* Work with Field Marketing to verify the Hotel’s website is updated regularly.
* Partner with the Director of Marketing to create a marketing plan aligned with hotel sales and revenue strategy.
* Assist the Director of Marketing in providing training and marketing leadership to the marketing team & trainees.
* Coordinate with property and above-property Field Marketing and Revenue Management teams to report success of property marketing and eCommerce performance.
* Keep abreast of competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts.
* Assist the Marketing Director with other relevant matters for the Marketing Department's success.
* Coordinate and execute Hotel printed materials.
* Control quantity and inventory of all Hotel marketing collateral.
* Assist in the production of all property, F&B display, and temporary signage in hotel public areas.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education And Experience
* Degree or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related major.
* 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related professional areas; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred.
* Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
