As we continue our incredible growth journey, we are looking to hire a new Business Director that will sit within one of our Client Planning teams.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a senior position in a growing team, reporting into a Client Managing Director. It involves line managing two Account Directors, and directly overseeing a team of eight others, so a passion for managing and developing talent is a must.
This person will also work closely with our marketing effectiveness, strategy, partnership and digital specialists, so a collaborative working style is required. As a senior lead within a growing agency, this person will have a strong track record of driving both succcessful results for clients, and evidence of effectively managing their team P&L, through both organic growth and new business.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
The two key accounts that you will be working on are both are long-standing clients with ambitious growth goals, to which we recently won double gold at the IPA Effectiveness Awards for one of them.
We manage the full media mix for these clients so we need a capable media planner who can develop and oversee complex campaigns. Channels managed include: Brand, TV, DRTV, BVOD, Partnerships, Print, DM, Door Drops, Digital Video, Audio, Digital Display, Paid Social and PPC.
This multifaceted client mix calls for someone who can both build and navigate senior client relationships, and develop brilliant multi-channel media plans.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Extensive multi-channel media planning experience
* Strong commercial understanding, with experience in reporting and driving profitability
* Adept at building and growing relationships with senior clients and stakeholders
* Proven experience of leading and developing a team
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Experience working with charity clients
* Experience of leading and converting new business pitches
* A strong understanding of measurement, including econometrics
