Job Description:
Reporting to the Group Talent Director, you will advise the Company and its Business Units in the definition, adaptation, and implementation of Ferrovial’s Global Talent Acquisition policies in North America, ensuring a close bidirectional link between the corporate functions and our businesses in this region.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement the North American university relations strategy, establishing strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to strengthen the pipeline of early talent for the organization.
* Manage on-campus employer career fairs with the different business units and attend representing Ferrovial.
* Identify and lead strategic partnerships with colleges, on-campus organizations, job boards, and veteran’s organizations.
* Enhance the Ferrovial employer brand in the US and Canada in partnership with the business units. Support local business units and subsidiaries in the implementation of the employer branding policies and materials.
* Develop and execute targeted employer branding initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
* Partner with the businesses in the region to ensure the implementation of global talent acquisition processes and technology.
* Lead the recruitment and selection processes for corporate roles.
* Partner with local talent teams to create and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a consistent approach across North America.
* Lead the recruitment and hiring of recent graduate talent joining in the defined career and development path for graduate talent.
* Monitor industry talent trends and market dynamics, offering strategic insights and market intelligence to hiring teams.
* Utilize data analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends and measure effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
* Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations, as well as adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies.
* Experience with talent management software and tools (Workday preferably, Broadbean, Handshake).
