The Hotel
Renowned Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier have created a sophisticated residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites, including several one-of-a-kind specialty suites, featuring unique design elements inspired by the hotel’s historic connections to the city, Spanish culture, and art.

Responsibilities
* Ensure that the different "mise en place" are prepared with the highest quality according to the standards established by the bosses.
* Ensure the configuration and replacement of buffets.
* Assist the bosses in collecting and organizing them in the corresponding storage.
* Inform the boss of the ingredient quantities when stock levels are low and ensure there is always enough stock for day-to-day operations.
* Store the ingredients in specific containers, ensuring they are preserved and labeled according to the company's standards.
* Clean and disinfect work surfaces, tools, utensils, and work areas before and after use, as indicated by food safety standards.
* Report on the problems of cleaning and maintenance of the kitchens, supporting the daily checks carried out by the bosses.
* Support other points of sales and banquets if requested by the bosses.
* Attend and participate in all meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
* Perform any other tasks as required by the bosses.
* Ensure to follow the food safety and health standards set by Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Requirements
* Preferably a diploma in culinary arts.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a chef.
* Basic experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business.
