Context of the Position: We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT/IS Architect (Data Architect) to lead the company’s data architecture initiatives. This is a high-impact role that involves developing robust, scalable solutions and integrating our platforms into an ever-evolving technological ecosystem. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the executive team, managing critical projects and contributing to strategic decision-making regarding data infrastructure and technological advancements. Your Responsibilities: As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for: Design and implement a scalable data architecture aligned with business needs and strategic objectives. Lead data integration initiatives, ensuring quality, consistency, and availability of information. Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure technical and functional alignment. Serve as a bridge between technical teams and senior management, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. Oversee compliance with security standards, data privacy, and applicable regulations.Develop strategies for large-scale data storage, processing, and analysis (Big Data). Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance business value. ️♂️ What We're Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in similar IT/IS and data architecture roles. Designing scalable and robust architectures. Proven experience in designing and implementing Big Data solutions and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Languages: Fluent English (Interviews will be conducted in English) / French (nice to have) Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with senior leadership. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate in a diverse and dynamic environment. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database systems. Experience with Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.). Designing and optimizing data pipelines. Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi, etc.). Experience integrating data across enterprise systems. Logical and physical data modeling. Defining standards and policies for data governance. Implementing security measures for data management. Knowledge of regulations like GDPR or other relevant standards. Proficiency in Python, Java, R, or similar for data analysis and processing.
