The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer. This role focuses on various improvement projects. Responsibilities include managing projects and working independently with limited supervision, reporting to the Production Manager.
We are hiring an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our team at the Tank Shop in Galindo. In this role, you will be part of the Tank manufacturing team, where you will be in charge of various improvement projects for production. A good technical analysis of the tank manufacturing process, addressing the needs of the production team, and coordinating with other departments will be essential for this job. How you’ll make an impact
You will pursue initiatives to improve the effectiveness of production through various improvement and investment projects.
Follow up closely on all improvement projects measuring quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines and project demands with a sense of urgency.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

Your background
Degree in industrial engineering.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering environment related to manufacturing process improvement and project management.
Fluent in English communication.
A proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and a passion for gaining new skills.
Experience in managing improvement projects, including investments.
