About the Role
As an Area/Shift Manager at Amazon, you will lead a diverse team to ensure your area of the business meets demand. This hands-on role offers experience in managing complex operations at a global level and implementing approaches to drive productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote a Culture of Safety and Wellbeing
* Analyse and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high and business objectives are met across all shifts.
* Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
* Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
* Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.
A Day in the Life
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites, focusing on maintaining safety standards within your team and site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks.
Your role involves working with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets. This includes analysing data and performance metrics with leaders and discussing operational pros and cons with engineers.
Basic Qualifications
* Currently in final year of a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
* Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and Spanish.
* Relevant experience in performing data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Experience in a logistical working environment.
* Experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
