About the Job
This leadership role requires a strategic and results-driven professional with a strong ability to manage and coordinate multiple brand initiatives while leading a team of Brand Managers. The Head of Brand Management will be responsible for overseeing brand strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives per brand, and driving all brand growth through effective marketing and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic planning, team leadership, and execution, ensuring all projects for each brand are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Planning
o Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive brand strategies to enhance each brand's equity and market positioning.
o Define long-term vision for each brand and ensure alignment with overall company objectives, brand strategy, and market trends.
o Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand success and ensure continuous improvement.
o Lead the development of marketing and branding initiatives supporting the multi-brand approach.
2. Leadership & Team Management
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four Brand Managers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
o Assign responsibilities, provide clear direction, and oversee execution of brand-related projects and cross-brand initiatives.
o Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the team.
o Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to optimize team productivity.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with product development, sales, commex, finance, and external partners to ensure the different brand strategies are effectively executed.
o Serve as the primary point of contact between marketing leadership and Brand Managers.
o Ensure all brand activities are aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
4. Project Management & Execution
o Oversee the execution of multiple brand projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
o Provide strategic direction and problem-solving support for Brand Managers in overcoming challenges.
o Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
5. Budget & Resource Management
o Develop and manage the overall brand marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
o Track and report financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
o Ensure budget adherence while maximizing impact and ROI of marketing initiatives.
6. Brands Performance & Market Insights
o Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy.
o Oversee the development of brand performance reports and present insights to senior management.
o Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
7. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
o Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure stakeholders are well-informed of brand initiatives.
o Work closely with senior leadership to align brand strategies with broader business objectives.
o Serve as a group brand ambassador, ensuring brand strategy consistency across all touchpoints.
8. Risk Management & Quality Assurance
o Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
o Maintain high-quality standards in all brand-related materials and communications.
o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
9. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in brand management.
o Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations.
o Drive a culture of creativity and innovation within the team to enhance brand positioning and market differentiation.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CIM) preferred.
Experience:
* 8+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related fields.
* Proven experience in a leadership role managing teams and large-scale marketing projects.
* Strong track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies.
