Tasks
This is a full-time, on-site role for an R&D Engineer in Structural and Product Design located in Madrid. As an R&D Structural & Product Engineer, your role is to design structures and innovate products in the field of wind energy. You should possess strong knowledge in structural mechanics and design optimization. You will be responsible for evaluating, designing, developing, and conducting optimization and validation of different models, interacting with the supply chain. You will be provided with the freedom to create together with an international team. Reporting to the technical director and the general manager, you will be assigned various R&D development projects in which you will make a great impact in the renewable energy industry.
Requirements
* Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Industrial/Civil/Construction/Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Experience in civil structural engineering
* Experience with CAD software and structural calculation software (type Cype, Rfem,...)
* Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Matlab, C++, etc.)
* Background in design optimization and structural mechanics
* Knowledge of geotechnics, foundations and building codes.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Work experience in industrial constructions is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is required
