We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of People Development to lead our fast-growing organization's learning initiatives. This role is crucial in developing and implementing strategies that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, ensuring our workforce is equipped to meet current and future challenges as we scale fast internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
2. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with stakeholders.
3. Deliver and oversee impactful and engaging learning solutions.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make necessary adjustments.
5. Lead succession planning and career pathing initiatives.
6. Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals.
7. Collaborate with department heads to identify and address specific training needs.
8. Manage the learning and development budget and ensure cost-effective solutions.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
10. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as DEI commitments.
11. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a senior learning and development role.
3. Proven experience in senior stakeholder management.
4. Strong knowledge of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to analyze data and measure the impact of learning initiatives.
8. Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.
9. Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
