Summary of Responsibilities:
The Quality Manager is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team responsible for an effective implementation of the Quality Management System and delivery the Customer satisfaction. This role reports to the Segment Quality Leader.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Act as a member of the Andoain site leadership teams, promoting a culture of safety, quality and fostering the Mativ leadership behaviors
* Oversee the Internal Audit program, and conducting routine reviews with Management to manage risks, gaps and drive continuous improvement.
* Support the evaluation of the new business and product changes with respect to meeting all quality and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee quality of the products, including risk assessments, raw materials, products specification process.
* Oversee the site supplier quality program, including ongoing monitoring of suppliers, Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
* Post market change control, and continual improvement of the supply chain quality.
* Responsible for the customer complaints and CAPA processes.
* Lead a team of 3 members, in the Quality Assurance and Quality Control areas, providing development and performance feedback.
* Participate as a team member of the global quality organization to share, develop and implement best practices in a systematic and scalable manner.
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
* BS in the Sciences, e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
* 10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Quality Assurance Management role.
* English & Spanish language required.
* Experienced Auditor.
* Proficient with business and technical software such as ERPs, Minitab, electronic Quality Management Systems.
