Mission:
The position of Global Consumer Insights Manager is within our Global Verticals team, where commercial, financial, and customer management responsibility and coordination of the teams involved will be assumed, as well as the representation of KANTAR to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. This position has a focus on crafting insights during the sales process and delivering projects through our Out of Home and Usage Food consumer panels, working across a portfolio of global clients, including Danone, Nestlé, Coke, PepsiCo, and many more. This position is suitable for an experienced and dynamic manager who is capable of establishing strong relationships with clients, as well as collaborating with our local OOH & Usage teams to create compelling data stories and lead all data requests related to global thought leadership, global experience, and project reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Clients and Business Development: Lead all data requests and project reporting ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information and providing a good level of knowledge for clients, but also generating internal impact.
2. Handle the relationship with assigned clients oriented towards the development and loyalty of the relationship, with the ultimate goal of growing the value of the client for KANTAR.
3. Support country-wide launch proposals and information delivery, coordinate teamwork with local teams, and run the client relationship for assigned projects.
4. Encourage the team's commercial relationship with clients.
5. Commercialize new opportunities among assigned clients and prospects.
6. Ensure quality, satisfaction, and communication with the client in all phases of the studies under their responsibility.
7. Carry out the methodological and commercial proposals of the assigned studies.
Leadership:
Identify relevant issues within the food and beverage industry; gather information across countries with timely and accurate completion and ensure global consistency. Generate insightful content to inspire clients and local teams.
Financial:
Ensure the profitability of clients under their responsibility by supervising their TO, GM, and number of hours charged.
Processes:
1. Production and interpretation of analysis with a focus on searching for patterns in the data highlighting key priorities and making recommendations.
2. Discuss reports with clients, challenging when necessary to ensure that requests have been thought through properly and offering advice on the best way to approach issues.
3. Guide and advise the organization and clients on efficient strategies to reach target markets and identify market opportunities for new and existing goods and services through market research.
4. Interpret data and information that will support the prediction and forecasting of current and future consumption trends, as well as collect and analyze data and other statistical information for the generation of actionable insights.
5. Plan and coordinate in collaboration with the local team involved, the realization of the assigned studies.
6. Establish the guidelines for the preparation of reports to ensure that they are adjusted to respond to the research objectives and are prepared in a clear, concise, and committed manner.
7. Propose actions and provide solutions to the difficulties that arise.
8. Coordinate with International teams in case the client or study requires it.
Innovation:
Propose commercial improvements (methodology, products, etc.) in order to increase sales. Stay up to date with new methodologies/tools driven from KANTAR and as far as possible from the competition. Promote collaboration with other global and local units.
Technical Competencies:
Studies in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent +5 years of professional experience (preferably in account management) with a consistent track record of establishing relationships with large clients in a support capacity. Technical knowledge of Market Research and the portfolio of methodologies and products of this industry. Office automation, knowledge of databases and multivariate analysis methodologies. A curious and analytical mentality.
