What You Will Be Doing
As an IT Project Manager you will help us continue leading the way in innovative banking. In this role, you'll lead projects that redefine the digital landscape of our banking services, contributing to the evolution of customer experiences and operational success. Join us in reshaping the future of Santander and help make a difference for our customers.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
1. Managing and coordinating projects focused on smaller business-led change, to address the evolving CIO domain and customers’ needs.
2. Monitoring all project activities and timelines, reporting progress and identifying potential delays.
3. Collaborating with all stakeholders within the Infrastructure, Operations and End User Technology teams and the CIO domains to manage expectations and ensure smooth delivery.
4. Creating and maintaining all required project documentation.
5. Maintaining a constant assessment of project risks, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies and ensuring the tracking and managing of RAID logs.
6. Ensuring all project deliverables meet established quality standards by following quality control processes.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience as an IT Project Manager in banking.
Education
University degree in technology, preferably in computer science.
Skills & Knowledge
1. Facilitation of clear communications among project team members and stakeholders.
2. Data management and analytical capabilities for accurate and timely project reporting with the ability to extract meaning and detail from the information gathered.
3. Strong technology knowledge and experience of how infrastructure and operations are the foundation of all business delivery and value realization.
4. Organizational skills to keep on top of all projects in flight.
5. Ability to adapt new technology approaches with a focus on cloud-based models and solutions, with a thirst for development and learning.
6. A well-rounded appreciation of the business domain and how to operate within a financial institution, monitoring risks and their mitigation and being able to realize project outcomes.

Occasional trips to the UK. English at least C1.
