About The Job And Your Team
Aligned with the strategy of Hydro Extrusions, we established our Automation Task Force Team with an ambition to improve the level of automation of our production sites. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be a member of a diverse, international group having the possibility to introduce industrial robots, cobots, AGV & AMR concepts and many new innovative solutions cooperating with our production plants all over Europe.
You will work on
1. Analyze new and ongoing projects of different locations
2. Design new, reliable, and tailor-made processes
3. Improve existing value streams and implement these into our factories in a new automated and robotized environment
4. Create specific designs of mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D software tools
5. Create manufacturing and assembly drawings
6. Manage technical documentation for designed components
7. Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
8. Perform engineering analyses, including stress and thermal conditions if necessary
9. Work closely with manufacturing teams in Hydro Extrusions plants to optimize production
10. Provide technical support and guidance as needed
11. Conscientiously perform assigned tasks, in accordance with occupational health and safety and applicable regulations
Your Qualifications And Skills
1. MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent field
2. Fluency in English both spoken and written
3. Experience in mechanical design
4. Proficiency in ACAD software and other engineering 3D designing tools
5. Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
6. Experience in working with various mechanical documentation within an industrial environment
7. Manual experience to assemble designed prototypes
8. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, moulding, welding, and additive manufacturing
9. Creativity, attention to detail, action-oriented approach
10. Strong communication skills to influence and manage relationships with different teams
11. Strict adherence to professional secrecy
You would also ideally have
1. Experience in a similar position preferably in the automotive field
2. Driving license (category ‘B’)
3. Knowledge of any other foreign languages is a plus
