Unit / Team: ITS is responsible for the provision of information technology applications and infrastructure throughout the Atradius Group.
Within ITS, the unit owns and maintains Finance Operations systems.
Job Description
1. Manage and initiate maintenance projects (including ones to decommission old finance systems).
2. Represent ITS in projects relating to Finance Operations.
3. Manage the transition of Spanish local finance system (Deister) to Oracle Financials Cloud.
4. Ensure compliance of applications under management with Enterprise Architecture and internal/external regulatory requirements.
5. Lead the existing team in Madrid: 2 team members and contractors.
6. Manage relationship with the vendors for the technical delivery services (design, development, technical test).
7. Ensure quality of the delivered solution including fitness for purpose, investment effectiveness.
Job Requirements
1. Strong personal, team building, and influencing skills - including experience in managing deliveries across diverse teams (e.g., location, culture, organisation, internal/outsourced).
2. Preferably experienced line manager, with demonstrable ability to develop staff.
3. Solid experience (at least 3 years) in working with Oracle E Business Suite Cloud.
4. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
5. Experience with finance operations systems (AP/AR) is preferred.
6. Proven track record in engineering, with clear capability to lead by example.
7. Analytical approach to problem solving and escalation management, with demonstrable ability to make effective decisions at the right time within the overall boundaries of the programme.
8. Structured, logical, disciplined approach to the planning, organisation, and tracking of work, with the ability to think ahead and correlate to the bigger picture.
9. Capability here includes scheduling, resourcing, scoping, impact assessments, risk mitigation, issue management, dependency management across programmes with the ability to explain detail to audiences at all levels.
10. 'Hands on' approach to programme management keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
11. Willingness to travel (+/- 10%).
