Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive strategic sales initiatives, expand partnerships with tour operators and travel agencies, and strengthen our presence across OTAs. The ideal candidate should have experience in international luxury hospitality and be skilled in client acquisition, sales tours, and rate parity management.
The Sales Manager will work closely with our Revenue Manager Partner to optimize pricing strategies and revenue streams—this role does not require full revenue management responsibilities but rather an understanding of pricing strategy to align sales efforts with revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expand B2B Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, and OTAs to maximize visibility and bookings.
* Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue from both B2C and B2B.
* Collaborate on Revenue Strategy: Work alongside our Revenue Manager Partner to support dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and distribution strategies.
* Ensure Rate Parity: Monitor and maintain consistent pricing across all channels to protect the hotel's brand integrity.
* Organize Sales Tours of Groups, Events, MICE, & Fam Trips: Showcase The Donna Portals to key partners through site inspections and industry events.
* Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of trends, competitor strategies, and industry shifts to inform sales approaches.
* Work with Internal Teams: Coordinate with marketing, reservations, and front office teams to align strategies and ensure seamless guest experiences, as well as work together to have internal reporting structure and realiability of information and workflows.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of sales experience in the luxury hospitality industry, preferably within an international hotel group.
* Strong network of tour operators, agencies, and OTAs.
* Experience in rate parity and pricing strategies.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Familiarity with sales and CRM tools.
* Ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven sales strategies.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Spanish, German, etc.) are a plus.
