What you’ll do:
* Often involved in decision making about modifying or adapting existing designs.
* Reviews Technology requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions, often projects based in delivering Technology change within the business.
* Provides leadership to those who design, develop, modify, adapt and implement short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing technical capabilities, products, systems architecture, network systems and infrastructure, based on cloud environments.
* Identify and implement appropriate strategies to maximize the use of global technology resources and corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs), focusing resources on corporate priorities/goals/objectives while meeting the needs of the verticals within the Iberia countries.
* Identify emerging trends in technology, and determine how these can be applied in a business context for business advantage.
* Manage, prioritize and optimize technology assets/resources across the organization to drive maximum business benefit, working very closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
* Work closely with the PDA organization (product, data & analytics) and information security team, in order to accelerate the time to revenue for the new products and solutions.
* Be an active member of the IT leadership team in Europe, generating robust alliances and partnerships in order to impact positively in the Iberia P&L.
* Identify, recruit, manage, develop and retain a high-performance team of managers and professionals (permanent roles and contingent workers).
What experience you need:
* Analytical thinker with the ability to process information quickly and make actionable recommendations.
* Willing to challenge conventional norms and views.
* Business-centric, keeping a strategic view focused on business value delivery.
* 10+ years of experience with CIO/CTO level experience leading innovation in mid-size enterprises (MSE), within multinational organizations.
* Demonstrated delivery of content, innovation and thought leadership and research coverage flexibility in support of clients.
* Engagement in collaborative teamwork that improves colleague, cohort and team skills, knowledge, and performance.
* Exceptional and articulate communication skills; ability to explain complex ideas simply and effectively. Good storyteller.
* Experience with leading digital business strategy initiatives and execution all the way to establishing operational practices and familiarity with challenges faced by MSE.
Education:
* Degree: Computer / Telco Engineering
* Languages: English proficiency
* IT: Management of Google Suite package
