We are looking for an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to lead and optimise logistics and distribution operations across Spain, within the hospitality and food service industry. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient processes, timely collections, and high service standards—contributing to a purpose-driven business that operates in a fast-paced, international environment.
You’ll be joining the European market leader in the collection and processing of used cooking oil. The recovered oil is transformed into sustainable feedstock for advanced biofuels.
As the company expands rapidly across Europe, we are now reinforcing our Spanish operations and looking for a hands-on, strategic leader to strengthen the local team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy & Execution
* Define and implement strategies to optimise logistics and align with business goals.
* Track and analyse KPIs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Warehouse & Fleet Management
* Oversee warehouse activities and fleet operations.
* Ensure timely collections, vehicle maintenance, and delivery accuracy.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
* Coordinate with suppliers and 3PL partners to minimise disruptions.
* Monitor stock levels where applicable to ensure service continuity.
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead and develop cross-functional teams.
* Foster a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
* Ensure high service standards and resolve operational issues.
* Work closely with sales and service teams to meet client expectations.
Budgeting & Financial Control
* Manage operational budgets and cost-control initiatives.
* Analyse financial data and implement corrective measures.
Compliance & Health & Safety
* Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
* Uphold health, safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or similar (Master’s is a plus).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or operations management.
* Proven leadership in multi-site operations and team management.
* Strong knowledge of transport and fleet operations.
* Experience with warehouse or transport management systems; Odoo ERP is a plus.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
