The main objective/purpose of this role is to innovate, implement, maintain, oversee and control all G2M systems & KPIs, sales technologies for a cutting-edge sales information and support program, to drive optimization & productivity projects and capability programs. The manager has to guide sales management and upper management to contribute to business sales strategies and to contribute to the day-to-day business decision-making process.

The role of the Sr. Business Development Manager is to manage distributors of the allocated market(s). This position is part of our EURAM zone, in which we manage Evian & Volvic brands.
They are a key contributor to the topline and bottom-line growth of the zone and the CBU. They are responsible for building the joint business plan with the Distributor & piloting excellence in execution. They are also responsible for working hand in hand with the distributor through to the customer level to maximize our business.
Distributors/Partners Management & Engagement:
- Choose, assess distributor(s), build, develop and sustain strong partnership and efficient business relationships. Engaging distributor(s) through ongoing and impactful communication, clear priorities, shared vision, strategy and ambition.
- Show way forward across channels to animate partners, sales force, ensure execution and deliver results and targets.
Region Strategy & JBP (joint business plan) development:
- Develop the 1y and 3y strategy for the assigned scope identifying the building blocks of future growth.
- Develop a detailed JBP with partners according to the common strategies and objectives.
- Monitor and follow up through monthly, identifying the key levers to grow the Business and share/align with the partners and follow up with action plans.
- Map key clients to target and work closely with distributors/partners and/or regional/global Key Account Manager to ensure successful negotiation, activation & execution.
New Business Development Opportunities identifications and implementation:
- Analyze, validate, pilot and execute any new opportunities according to financial expectations & ROI.
- Continuously searching for breakthrough valorized initiatives for the cluster.
- Know where the main opportunities are and address all channels efficiently with the right mix and pricing.
- Identify, develop, accelerate any new opportunities in new channels.
- Anticipate Risks & opportunities for the channels.
Business Performance Monitoring:
- Regular detailed KPIs monitoring focusing on excellence in execution & P&L;
- JBP monitoring.
- GPS & Forecast accuracy within the scope.
- Full P&L accountability with Investments monitoring & tracking (PPE & TPR, trade spend and A&P budget).
- Ensuring Excellence in Execution across channels.
- Go out to the market regularly to monitor execution.
- Search for best practices and inspiration and share proactively with the EVAI teams involved.
Leading Teams:
- Lead and develop the Business Development team of the assigned scope, which consists of 4 persons.
- Engage the distributors team ensuring high focus on Danone brands.
- Communicate, train, co-build - invite to collaborate, co-create upon the priorities.
- Ensure proximity with key people in the distributor's team and establish the way to influence at all levels – engaging, training, monitoring etc.
ABOUT YOU
Would typically have around 5/6+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Distributor Management, Key account Management, Relevant trade- or channel-marketing and AFH experience will be an advantage.
