Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients who bring in the most revenue for the company.
2. Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
3. Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not be present.
4. Address and resolve customer complaints.
5. Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
6. Oversee customer service assigned to each customer.
7. Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
8. Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area.
9. Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
10. Negotiate contracts with clients and meet deadlines set for the achievement of each client’s long-term objectives.
11. Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.
Education:
* Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar.
Specific knowledge:
* Knowledge in the industries of fragrances, flavours, animal feed, cosmetics.
* Basic knowledge of international trade.
* Advanced user of Office Suite.
* Analytical skills.
* Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
