Network Planning Manager, ATS Network Planning and Implementation (NPI)
ATS' (Amazon Transportation Services) Core Network Planning team plays a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, dynamic international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently to ensure the very best customer experience. As a Network Manager, you will be working on large network transformations (LNTs) and other intra-year optimizations (CIPs) that drive cost, speed, attainment, and sustainability benefits across the end-to-end transportation network. You will work cross-functionally, collaborating with leaders from first, middle, and last-mile to inform decisions in topology and timing design. You will sit at the intersection of business and tech, serving as the primary user of Amazon's latest network design technology and informing future tech enhancements. By optimizing our network design you will make Amazon's customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Define tenets and lead the design of end-to-end network optimization, leveraging our in-house network design operational research models.
2. Gather and prioritize business requirements to inform design accuracy and interoperability of network design tools.
3. Lead planning and organization of complex, high-visibility network design projects.
A day in the life:
Being a Network Manager for Amazon involves a great deal of hypothesis testing and data-driven decision making. Decisions in this role impact both short-term and long-term. As a Network Manager, you’ll be required to drive innovative solutions to Amazon's most pressing network design needs. This will require you to engage collaboratively with several different teams from ATS, GTS, and AMZL as you identify potential network optimizations, test and validate their business case, and lead design. No two days will be the same, and having so much variety in your role means you will learn something new every day.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
3. Experience in program or project management.
4. Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
5. Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
6. Experience in supply chain.
7. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
8. Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
9. Experience leading process improvements.
10. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
11. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
