Role Overview
As Head of Business Development, you will work closely with the founders and an experienced team of advisors to shape and execute Sweanty’s B2B strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and securing key partnerships, expanding market reach, and driving revenue growth in the sports performance and health sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop & Execute Growth Strategy – Define, implement and execute a scalable B2B business development strategy, identifying key opportunities in the sports, health, and performance sectors.
* Partnership & Client Acquisition – Build relationships with athletes, sports teams, leagues, federations, nutrition brands, and performance-driven organizations.
* Market Expansion – Drive Sweanty’s presence in global markets, leveraging partnerships and strategic alliances.
* Sales & Revenue Growth – Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and deal execution to maximize business impact.
* Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with founders, and other teams to align business opportunities with innovation.
* Industry Representation – Represent Sweanty at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Hard skills:
* 2-5 years of experience in B2B business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within the sports industry or performance-related sectors.
* Global Mindset – Ability to operate in international markets, developing relationships across different cultures and geographies.
* Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of the sports performance, health, or nutrition ecosystem.
* Strategic Thinker & Doer – Capable of both defining high-level strategies and executing them effectively.
* Networking & Relationship Management – Excellent communication skills with a track record of building successful partnerships.
* Expertise in social media strategy and management – Proficient in leveraging platforms for brand positioning, lead generation, and business growth at an enterprise level, with hands-on experience using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads for performance tracking, audience targeting, and campaign optimization is a plus.
Soft skills:
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills – Ability to confidently engage with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and drive impactful conversations.
* Collaborative and respectful leadership – Works effectively with co-founders, partners, investors, employees, and clients, fostering a positive and results-driven environment.
