Job Overview:
As a German-speaking Sales Representative for the Google Project, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, building and maintaining client relationships, and actively contributing to the success of our Google partnership. You will be directly involved in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals, all while maintaining exceptional customer service. This is a hybrid role that allows you to work 3 days remotely and 2 days on-site in our Barcelona office, offering the best of both worlds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Development & Lead Generation:
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients.
* Develop and execute targeted strategies to generate leads for Google-related services and solutions.
* Utilize a variety of sales techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking, to establish initial contact with potential clients.
* Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline through consistent follow-up and engagement with prospects.
* Client Relationship Management:
* Build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with German-speaking clients.
* Understand client needs and tailor solutions based on their unique requirements, with a focus on delivering Google’s innovative solutions.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering advice, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
* Provide strategic consultation to clients to help them achieve their business objectives through Google products and services.
* Sales Execution:
* Effectively manage and close the sales process, from initial contact to negotiation and contract finalization.
* Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the benefits of Google products and services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process for new clients.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
* Collaboration & Teamwork:
* Work closely with other sales representatives, account managers, and project teams to align strategies and ensure smooth execution of client projects.
* Share best practices and success stories with the team to continually improve the sales process.
* Coordinate with internal marketing and technical teams to tailor solutions and proposals based on client needs.
* Support cross-functional teams in the development of promotional campaigns, product launches, and client events.
* Market & Product Knowledge:
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Google’s suite of products and services.
* Continuously educate yourself on Google’s solutions, using this knowledge to present tailored and valuable recommendations to clients.
* Participate in training sessions and workshops to sharpen your sales skills and product expertise.
* Reporting & Analysis:
* Provide regular sales activity reports to management, outlining key metrics such as pipeline progress, revenue forecasts, and client interactions.
* Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine strategies and improve sales outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s CRM system.
* Language Proficiency:
* Communicate effectively in German with clients, both written and spoken, to ensure seamless interaction and relationship-building.
* Ability to present and negotiate in German during client meetings, calls, and emails.
* Fluency in English is also required, as it is the company's primary business language.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Fluency in German (native or near-native proficiency) is a must.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the digital, tech, or software industry.
* Proven track record of success in sales, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Experience working with Google products or in the digital marketing space is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of sales techniques such as lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
* Ability to understand client needs and customize sales strategies to meet those needs.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in German and English.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
* A goal-oriented and driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
* Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in remote sales is beneficial, given the hybrid nature of the role.
