Governance & Model Risk Senior Analyst
Santander Consumer Finance is looking for a Governance and Model Risk Senior Analyst, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.

Responsibilities
As Governance and Model Risk Senior Analyst, you will have a key role in the Stellantis Risk Integration team that coordinates Risk activities with our French partner (BPF) and the different common Joint Ventures (JVs) across 7 countries in Europe. This Cooperation manages the captive Auto Business financing for Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, and Fiat brands, amongst others. You will be responsible for managing the risk governance of the Cooperation ensuring the proper functioning of the Global Risk Committee (GRC). You will also manage the internal regulation, supervising and coordinating the transposition of SCF’s risk normative tree in the JVs. As Model Risk coordinator, you will strengthen the management of JVs risk models, providing training and support; lead the model plan activities and monitor different controls and KPIs.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
* Organize the monthly Global Risk Committee: agenda coordination, decisions communication, pending topics follow-up.
* Coordinate the transposition of the normative tree ensuring that risk policies of the Cooperation follow the governance defined.
* Support JVs in their Model Risk activities and monitor their KPIs.
* Follow-up and report of Internal Validation and Internal Audit recommendations, anticipating and escalating their non-resolution in time.
* Monitor and present the Model Risk Profile of the Cooperation in GRC.
* Manage and control the Risk Central Projects budget together with BPF.
* Coordinate the implementation of different transversal Risk Projects in the Cooperation (or the whole SCF perimeter).
* Regular communication and coordination with different departments both at HQ level and with the JVs.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in Risk, Internal Audit or Compliance areas.
- Experience in project management/coordination of local units.
- Experience in a local business unit is valuable.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, or engineering.
Skills & Knowledge
- Great attitude and strong ability to work in an international environment, interacting with different stakeholders and cultures.
- Capacity for analysis, synthesis, and communication to top management.
- Negotiation skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Assign responsibilities to the areas involved, coordinate teams involved, and identify dependencies and synergies.
- High level of written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of French is highly valuable.
- Highly organized and willing to learn.
- Advanced level of Office Package required.

- Occasional business travel could be required.
