Our client is a renowned Spanish company specializing in the production, R&D, and sale of nutritional products for various crops.
They are seeking an Area Sales Manager to manage sales of fertilizer products in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets.
MISSION
The role will be responsible for leading and developing commercial strategies in the region, ensuring that sales operations align with the company's global strategic objectives.
This position is a key pillar, responsible for driving the company's growth in dynamic and diverse markets, leading multidisciplinary teams, identifying new business opportunities, and managing strategic relationships at a regional level.
The individual must ensure that all commercial actions are carried out efficiently, profitably, and fully aligned with the company's vision, mission, and values, directly contributing to long-term success in the MENA region.
EDUCATION:
Agricultural Engineer or similar. An MBA or equivalent in Business Management is desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
At least, 8/10 years of experience in the Agro sector. Experience in Agrochemicals is highly valued.
LANGUAGES:
English C1 and Arabic C1. French and Spanish are a plus.
RESIDENCE:
Preferably based in Spain (close to HQ strategic operations). Other (local) options will be considered.
TRAVEL:
Willingness to travel internationally according to business needs, while maintaining a high level of autonomy in line with the group's commercial direction.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
* Expertise in Nutritional Products, Microorganisms, and Bioprotection.
* Deep understanding of the region under their responsibility.
* Cultural knowledge of the MENA region and Spain.
* Experience in Sales Forecasting and Budgeting methodologies.
* Proficiency in technological management tools
