FUNCTIONS
The Industrial Manager must guarantee that industrial processes run effectively, productively, and safely. Responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring the performance, output, and quality of the products or services, making changes or enhancements as needed.
2. Managing and coordinating training, evaluating staff, and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
3. Implementing and upholding internal control and safety standards.
4. Setting and executing production plans, schedules, and budgets; ensuring follow-up of cost control and resource allocation.
5. Working in coordination with other plants and the European Supply Chain.
6. Analyzing and optimizing the stock of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and energy based on sales forecasting and customer orders to ensure efficient material flow.
7. Setting the Plant KPI, reviewing and reporting progress as a result of the operations activities, in alignment with other industrial sites of the company.
8. Identifying and solving problems, executing corrective or preventive actions in collaboration with other departments that could be affected.
9. Researching innovative new technologies for the plant.
10. Analyzing production methods and practices to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
11. Supervising the warehouse to ensure the deliveries of the orders.
12. Leading, motivating, encouraging, and managing employees, participating in recruitment, distribution of tasks, skills assessment, training plan proposals, annual performance evaluation, and job development.
13. Ensuring that the team complies with environmental rules and instructions, monitoring environment indicators, and participating in audits. Being proactive and making proposals to ensure continuous improvement in environmental protection.
Requirements
1. Industrial Engineer with experience in the food industry.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable position in an international company.
3. Experience in new facilities, buildings, and capacity extension.
4. Technical and operational knowledge.
5. Extensive business knowledge (MBA).
6. Financial skills.
7. Advanced negotiation skills.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Leadership and team player.
10. Analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving attitude.
11. Strong sense of direction, talent for management.
12. Resilient, tenacious, and energetic.
13. Spanish and English languages are required; French knowledge will be a plus.
14. SAP advanced user.
