Business Development Manager DELL Enterprise Europe (m/f/d)
The Dell Technologies BDM’s prime objective is to support country execution of the Dell TD SYNNEX European strategy and build appropriate plans to achieve its business objectives. The BDM will have a good understanding of the market position of the Dell Storage Technology and be able to articulate and promote this across a wide section of stakeholders. In collaboration with the European team and Dell Technology, he or she will continually seek to develop new areas for growth and enhanced profitability, and ensure countries are equipped with business Intelligence, sales, marketing and technical materials to maximize performance on the core business, partner activation programs, and new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Execute the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share.
* Drive sales and marketing of agreed vendor portfolio including new product launches and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results.
* Interact directly with country sales leaders and other team members to capture feedback and share best practice on business, technology and process improvements.
* Have a clear understanding of TD SYNNEX´s and Dell's value proposition and demonstrate ability to communicate internally and externally.
* Create, validate and maintain reports and dashboards needed to assess progress and decision making.
* Enable and support the country teams to win and grow share of wallet and maximize rebate opportunities.
* Occasional European or Domestic travel may be required.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* 1-3 years of experience in the IT industry with channel at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
* Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling.
* Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.
* Strategic planning and business case development.
* Experience of working within a matrix structure.
* Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.
* Demonstrates capability of having a clear understanding of strategic direction and challenges.
* Able to communicate using a wide range of tools clearly and effectively with customers.
* Influence and persuasion.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Self-management.
* Skilled multi-level relationship builder.
* High energy and motivation.
