VF APPAREL is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our Team based in Barcelona, in order to cover a MATERNITY LEAVE (until September 2025).
The role of a Sales Coordinator is to support the sales team, managing administrative tasks, facilitating efficient communication between the sales team and the other departments and contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Sales Coordinator will have 2 different focuses: Wholesale channel and El Corte Inglés. Reporting to the Sales Manager for the Wholesale responsibilities and the tasks related to the El Corte Inglés will be supervised by the 2 Key Accounts Manager (Eastpak/Jansport & Kipling) – dotted.
Key Responsibilities
-Wholesale Channel: Handling the administrative tasks that allow the sales representatives/agents to focus on selling.
1. Provide the campaign information to the sales teams (catalogues, presentations, prices...) and keep them updated with the changes that may occur.
2. Support the sales manager in collecting feedback from the sales representatives that HQ requests (pull forwards, keep or cancel, discounts check…)
3. Assist the sales teams with customer incidents, being in contact with the different departments (customer service, credit, sales operations…)
4. Coordinate the sales meetings organization (communication, logistics, manage the sales agent’s costs…)
5. Samples management.
-El Corte Inglés: Point of contact with the El Corte Inglés team for issues that cannot be solved by supervisors, requiring office intervention.
1. Ensure that the 2 online concessions are working properly, prepare the campaign catalogue codifications files with the information requested by the customer split by departments (pictures, descriptions), and archiving and improvement on navigation.
2. Manage incidents with guarantees.
3. Build and update the weekly reorder files by department & country.
4. Coordinate with Marketing & VM and the stores the implementation of Focal Points.
5. Provide the campaign information to the staff by updating share file & work on a dedicated catalogue by department.
6. Prepare materials for concessions as uniforms, bladers, staff identification, POS, device requests on One Connect.
7. Coordinate with HQ and the stores the return process.
8. Report Dummy SKUs on a weekly basis to HQ.
Skills for Success
1. Education: University Degree.
2. Experience: Two years’ experience in a role supporting selling teams. This type of experience should include sales analysis and/or customer service supervision. Experience with sales analysis and sales tracking from a data perspective is a plus.
3. Meeting and Event organization skills are required.
4. Language skills: Fluent English, an additional foreign language would be a plus.
5. Technology skills: Strong ability to tell the business story using PowerPoint with analytical details utilizing Excel. Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Cognos would be a plus.
