We are seeking a dynamic and consumer-focused B2C Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our branded websites, transforming them into best-in-class digital products. Your primary focus will be to create engaging and personalized digital experiences that drive traffic, enhance engagement, strengthen loyalty, and deliver a competitive advantage, all while aligning with broader business objectives.
As a key player in our ongoing digital transformation journey, you will help shape the future of our digital ecosystem by driving innovation, optimizing processes, and delivering impactful solutions.
Reporting directly to the Digital Products Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across all initiatives and deliver seamless experiences for pet parents.
This role involves defining and prioritizing product backlogs, overseeing development cycles, and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the consumer journey and elevate our digital presence.
What you will do
* Own the product roadmap for branded websites, aligning with business objectives to create seamless and engaging consumer experiences.
* Define and communicate the product vision, focusing on content excellence, UX optimization, and traffic generation to online and offline stores.
* Gather and prioritize requirements from cross-functional teams (Marketing, E-commerce, Retail) and other stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to leverage websites as key touchpoints in the consumer journey, driving brand awareness, traffic, and conversions.
* Translate business requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that reflect pet parents' needs and business priorities.
* Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on delivering features with the highest consumer and business value.
* Collaborate with ITBP and development teams using Agile practices (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives) to ensure timely and quality delivery.
* Work closely with content and SEO teams to ensure the websites are optimized for search engines and drive qualified traffic.
* Define and implement features that improve content discoverability, relevance, and personalization for users.
* Partner with digital marketing teams to support campaign initiatives, ensuring the website experience complements traffic-driving efforts (e.g., email marketing, paid ads).
* Collaborate with e-commerce teams to drive store locator engagement and improve online-to-offline conversion rates.
* Act as the primary liaison between marketing, e-commerce, retail, and IT teams, ensuring alignment and seamless communication.
* Partner with stakeholders to understand consumer needs and business goals, translating them into actionable product initiatives.
* Regularly present product updates, performance metrics, and insights to key stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
* Lead user research initiatives to uncover pain points, preferences, and opportunities for website improvement.
* Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and mobile-friendly interfaces.
* Oversee A/B testing and iterative development to continuously enhance the user experience and maximize engagement.
* Own and monitor the success metrics for branded websites, including traffic growth, conversion rates, and user engagement, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Contentsquare) to measure and optimize website performance.
* Advocate for a data-driven approach to website development, using insights to inform the roadmap and optimize ROI.
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by overseeing existing data tracking systems.
* Stay informed about the latest trends in B2C digital experiences, content marketing, and e-commerce.
* Advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance website functionality.
* Drive innovation initiatives that elevate the consumer experience and differentiate the brand in a competitive market.
What we are looking forExperience & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally with more than 3 years in a related or equivalent position. Preferably with a focus on e-commerce B2C websites or digital products, and experience in loyalty programs.
* Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), SEO principles, and strategies for driving traffic and sustainable growth.
* Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Contentsquare) to measure and optimize website performance.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including development, UX/UI, marketing, CRM, data, and e-commerce.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or Trello, and familiarity with design tools like Figma.
* Knowledge of personalization tools and techniques to deliver tailored user experiences.
* Experience in A/B testing and data-driven website optimization.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
