Position Title: Sales Leader, Rest of EMEA
Location: Barcelona (hybrid)
Travel Requirements: Across EMEA (15-25%)
Riverbed is looking for a seasoned Sales Leader to run our Rest of Emerging region. Reporting to the SVP EMEA, you will lead a team of Territory and Enterprise Account Executives selling to large accounts across a vast region including the Mediterranean, Turkey, Africa, BeNeLux, and the Nordics, balancing management activities including quota setting, forecasting, goal and development planning, and recruiting.
What you will do
1. Business Management: As part of the EMEA Sales Management Team, lead in the development of the assigned regions goals, strategies, and actions. Ensure timely execution of these strategies and actions. Set and execute an appropriate sales strategy that covers go to market, hi-touch, channel, alliances, and partnerships.
2. Ensure business forecasts and revenue reports are produced and presented on time. Set sales revenue targets and drive these down throughout the sales organization.
3. Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate high calibre sales professionals.
4. Build a high-performance, solutions-sales based sales culture. Drive the performance management process which tracks sales person productivity and drives increases in effectiveness.

1. Business Development: Create and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within large customers and partners. Demonstrate the drive and determination required to close large opportunities.
2. Work with regional sales teams to identify, prioritize and qualify new business opportunities, working closely with other parts of the sales organization as required.
3. Develop and effectively present Riverbed's value proposition, roadmap, and vision to key customers and strategic partners in the region.
4. Influence C-level executives within strategic accounts. Develop and manage regional channel partner effectiveness.
5. Build a short and long-term pipeline of business. Ensure attainment of quarterly revenue goals. Maintain perfect linearity and forecasting accuracy.
