The Role
The Corporate Pricing Lead (CPL) is responsible for setting the pricing strategy and ensuring local implementation, as well as making sure that current governance processes are followed and contributing to its continuous optimization. Additionally, the CPL will be responsible for the assessment of potential new assets from a market access and pricing perspective, contributing to the ongoing development and growth of the company.
For these purposes, the CPL will work under the direction of the Head of Corporate Pricing, be part of the new asset evaluation team, and will have close collaboration with other core functions such as Market Access Managers, Local Pricing teams, and Global Brand teams. To be successful, the CPL must be able to work in a matrix setting, have analytical, communicational, and organizational skills, together with the capacity to drive the execution of the strategy and influence its peers and local teams.
The position will report to the Head of Corporate Pricing, part of the Corporate Marketing and Market Access Area.
What will the role do:
* For products in pre-launch:
Contribute to the assessment of new assets from a market access and pricing perspective, providing recommendations on pricing potential.
* Conduct payer pricing and market access research to inform product pricing and access potential, shaping the global development strategy.
* In collaboration with the Market Access Manager, develop the global Market Access & Pricing strategy, with a specific focus on global pricing.
* Design the launch sequence, proposing optimal list and net prices to secure appropriate access and drive execution across global markets.
* Create the Global Pricing Guidance and support its adaptation for local teams.
* For products in-launch:
Develop the Global Negotiation Toolkit, oversee its rollout, and support local adaptation.
* If needed, establish contracting guidance to optimize local negotiations, providing training and support to local teams in executing contracting strategies.
* Review and support local Pricing & Reimbursement submissions and price adjustments.
* For products post-launch:
Develop lifecycle pricing and reimbursement strategies, including price maintenance and gross-to-net strategies.
* Oversee price changes and the development of pricing maps, challenging responsible teams to achieve appropriate price evolution.
* Non-product specific:
Drive the optimization of pricing processes, tools, and governance structures, fostering continuous improvement.
* Monitor and analyze healthcare environment trends and competitive landscapes to inform market access and pricing strategies.
* Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing across different teams and business areas.

Requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
You will rock at this company if you are a person with empathy, humility, curiosity, and optimism.
Key capabilities:
* Minimum 5-year experience in Pricing and Market Access in the pharma sector.
* Global role or knowledge of pricing requirements in different geographies desirable.
* Ability to drive and implement, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to prioritize work.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities, strategic thinking, communication and organization skills and team-player.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
* Self-starter who demonstrates energy and enthusiasm, bringing a positive can-do approach to arising challenges.
* English and Spanish speaker. Additional languages are a plus.
